a young animated character with an aviation hat on stands to the left, on their right an elder animated character looks into the horizon, with the same hat on, to the right, a small fox stands.

The first full-length animated feature of the well-known book by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. An ambitious young mother imposes a complete life-plan on her daughter, which leaves no time for fun of play, to make sure she enrols successfully at the prestigious local academy. The girl, however, becomes distracted by an elderly retired neighbour, an aviator who intrigues her with the story of a “Little Prince”, someone he met in the Sahara Desert after crash-landing there.

Through his stories the aviator introduces the girl to a world where she rediscovers her childhood. She learns that what matters most are the connections with the family and friends around her.

Starring the voices of Jeff bridges, Rachel McAdams, Marion Cotillard and Benicio Del Toro, with a musical score by Hans Zimmer, this award-winning film is one of the most successful animated features of the past decade.

The interaction of everyday realism with a celebration of the liberating effect of the imagination makes magic happen. That, and the exquisite animation.” – ROTTEN TOMATOES
